BUILD THE DETAILS
From reference to an agreed sample.
Product-development coordination can include fabric selection discussions, sample follow-up, trim and label requirements, measurement review and communication of revisions. The exact support and responsibilities are agreed for your project.
Before sampling
Prepare a tech pack or clear references. Include garment measurements, fabric composition and GSM, colour references, construction details, artwork placement and size breakdown. If you do not have all of these, describe what needs development.
During sample review
Review fit, appearance, measurements, material feel and workmanship against the intended product. Record changes in one clear revision list and agree which sample is the approval reference.
Before production
Confirm the approved specification, materials, labels, packaging and quality expectations in writing. Sample charges, revision limits, testing and lead times vary and should be agreed before work begins.
